St. Petersburg, Fla. – The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) will donate school supplies to Melrose Elementary School at their 2nd annual Meet-the-Teacher event on Friday, August 21, 2015.
Melrose Elementary, located in St. Petersburg, is a journalism magnet school where students receive hands-on, real-world experience for writing, speaking, photography, and videography.
Earlier this month, PSTA held Operation Giveback: A School Supplies Drive & Back to School Bash, which celebrated the end of summer and encouraged employees to donate items such as paper, pencils, and backpacks.
