PSTA and the City of Clearwater Partner to Bring Free Rides to Jazz Holiday
St. Petersburg, Fla. – The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) and the city of Clearwater are partnering to provide transportation options for guests attending the 36th Annual Clearwater Jazz Holiday this weekend.
The partnership will help alleviate congestion over the busy weekend by allowing attendees to park free at the Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex and then ride a PSTA bus to Coachman Park.
PSTA will run the “Route 60 Special” Thursday through Sunday from the Joe DiMaggio Sports Complex, located on the corner of Drew Street and Coachman Road, to the entrance of Coachman Park, starting one hour before the event begins to one hour after the event ends.
The “Route 60 Special” will run every 30 minutes and is free to ride.
Guests parking in the complex will receive a “Park & Ride” pass with operating times for accurate trip planning. The pass should be presented to the driver at time of boarding.
Last weekend, PSTA and the city came together to offer a similar partnership for the Hispanic heritage concert in downtown Clearwater, providing over 1,200 people with free park-and-ride service.
