PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Answers phones and gives detailed information to the public on how to use the PSTA bus system; reads maps to give directions.
Receives and records calls regarding customer complaints, routes them to appropriate personnel, or personally rectify the complaint if possible.
Sells fare cards, tokens, special event tickets and processes Photo Identification Cards for employees and the public at PSTA Customer Service centers and performs cashiering duties.
Keeps currently informed on changes in service or new service; communicates with Transportation Department regarding detours, breakdowns of equipment and other customer needed information. Performs other duties assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. supplemented by training in telephone techniques or customer service.
Experience: Two (2) years experience as a customer service representative, receptionist, or other related clerical work where duties involved extensive public contact.
Must be in possession of a valid Florida Driver's License.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of: Business telephone equipment; general office procedures; and Microsoft Office Software.
Essential Job Function: Answer telephone inquiries in an efficient and courteous manner; establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees and the general public; perform routine clerical duties; perform basic mathematical computations; perform data entry tasks utilizing personal computer hardware and software; learn PSTA routes.

All new Mechanics start on a full-time basis,, work evening shifts including weekends. Mechanics perform vehicle maintenance repairs including, but not limited to, changing lights, check and add fuel and oil, preventative maintenance inspections, steam clean, change tires, check and change batteries. Bending, stretching and light lifting is required. Must possess own hand tools in accordance with PSTA requirements.

All Mechanics applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications prior to hiring.
1.Possess one of the following valid Florida Driver's License and good driving record.
a.) Class "B" Commercial Drivers License with passenger endorsement and air brakes, or:
b.) Class "B" restricted (valid for 6 months) Commercial

2. Pass a complete physical including medical history and drug screen (at PSTA's expense).
3. PSTA will perform a criminal background check.
4. PSTA will verify your employment history.
5. PSTA will verify your driving record with the Department of Motor Vehicles.
SERVICE ATTENDANT - (Shift Work) $9.88 with full benefits - Email Resume Download Application
Nights 6:30 PM – 3:00 AM, Days Off vary. Night shifts, including weekends. The Service Attendants fuels buses, check and add oil, operate the bus washer, wash interior of buses and windows, sweep, dust interior and park buses. Performs related work as required. Requires heavy lifting.
