PSTA's Advisory Committee helps PSTA improve transit services and programs by advising PSTA's transit staff, Executive Director, and the Board of Directors. The committee's role is to:
- Function as a sounding board for updates to the Transit Development Plan.
- Present advice to the appropriate parties on issues essential to transit service in Pinellas County.
- Serve as a resource for transit promotion and coordination.
- Designate one member to serve on community sounding boards dealing with transit service.
Membership
The committee is made up of people who live in Pinellas County and who reflect the county's diversity. Members include residents, businesses, and other stakeholders interested in transit service in the county. Most members are bus riders. TAC members are appointed by the transit authority's Board of Directors. The committee meets monthly or as needed to complete the work plan and address other issues as they arise. Meetings are held from 10am to 12:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month at PSTA Headquarters.
